Internet of Things (IoT)
Overview
In 2022 we’ve designed an IoT solution perfectly suitable for receiving data from hardly accessible areas with no internet connection or a way to provide a power source. Our solution is based on Narval1201, a versatile, energy-efficient device designed for a large-scale, remote monitoring of metering devices using LoRaWAN technology.
Key Features
Easy to implement
- The device requires no configuration or set-up.
Minimal maintenance
- As little as one device is required per location: the battery on a single device can last up to 5 years while maintain a frequent data flow.
Cost-efficient:
- Minimizes fieldwork by automating data collection, reducing labor and maintenance costs while optimizing resource allocation.

Products
Its compact build, long battery life and compatibility with a variety of meter communication standards make it an essential tool for modern utilities and infrastructure management.
Longevity
Energy-efficient build of the device allows the battery last almost 5 years, while maintaining regular data flow to provide accurate readings
Wide-area coverage
Narval1201 uses LoRaWAN technology, allowing for wireless connection to the internet in regional, national or global networks. The device operates in unlicensed radio frequency bands, making it suitable for inaccessible areas.
Versatility
Device is compatible with a variety of protocols and can be further adjusted to fit your needs
Supported protocols: M-BUS, DLMS/COSEM, KMP, EN61107/IEC1107 mode A, EN 62056-21 and SML
