SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION

PATRON
PATRON is proprietary subscriber administration and netwrok monitoring software by Network Manager.
PATRON software is intended for FTTx, Docsis, VoIP and Wireless operators.
PATRON besides subscriber (modem, ONT, client) identity verification, registration and configuration, performs efficient administration of users. Provides a lot of possibilities that makes clients management and administration very easy.
IPTV
Time of classic TV systems where user can only watch a program that is currently on is long gone. Interactive TV systems enable users to watch the programs when they want, where they want and on different sorts of devices. IPTV technology fully enables implementation of iTV, no matter if the service is offered by managed (Local Autonomy IPTV) or unmanaged networks (OTT). Plum is a software which combines functions of a classic Middleware and video server.
DOCSIS

By its long-term presence in the field of equipment for cable operators, Network Manager has acquired significant references related to internet providing on existing HFC networks which had been used for distribution of television signal. In last few years,EuroDOCSIS 3.0 standard and Cisco UBR10k CMTS  system have gained momentum, especially among cable providers with larger number of subscribers and those which have multiple services run within their networks (VoIP, DVB-C, IPTV, VoD, etc).

FTTH

FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) is the latest generation of technology providing broadband internet, digital and analog television, IPTV, telephony and other advanced services. End user is given an optical fiber for connecting to a single communication network. Advantages in comparison with other access technologies are: huge capacities, small amount of data loss and unhindered transmission over great distances.

IP NGN

Number of IP/MPLS systems we have introduced to internet service providers so far is significant and it relies on our belief that a cutting edge internet backbone system not only has to be highly reliable and available, but able to transmit all types of information and services (data, voice, video), too. That kind of internet backbone system (IP/MPLS) is an integral part of Next Generation Network (NGN).

DVB-C

In order to make a system IPTV-ready, it is – before anything else – necessary to digitize video signal that is distributed to subscribers, i.e. to create a system for reception, processing and transmission of video contents to end users. Digitalization of video contents in HFC networks is done in accordance with DVB-C standard, where the video signal is transmitted by using MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 method and QAM modulation scheme with channel coding. The base of DVB-C standard is broadcasting system which is going to be transformed into multicasting one in the nearby future. Multicasting system, together with internet protocol (IP) is the key to implementation of IPTV solution.

Refurbishment represents the process of renovation of pre-used devices resulting in bringing them to technical and visual status almost identical to status of brand new pieces of equipment. The main difference between refurbished and used products is that refurbished products have been tested and verified to function properly, and are thus free of defects, while used products may or may not be defective. 

Refurbishment is ecologically friendly and cost-effective procedure – life span of existing devices is prolonged with no adverse effect on their functionality or reliability. This is very important not only because the electronic equipment is expensive, but also because this is the way the electronic waste is reduced. That is why this branch of industry is commonly called „GreenIT“.

The process of refurbishment is divided into several phases. Upon the arrival of a pre-owned device, a detailed technical inspection is performed in order to evaluate its condition and define concrete steps that will make it function and appear identical to a new one. After the repairs have been performed, device’s factory settings are restored, while the proprietary software (operating system) is left unchanged. Upon finishing this phase, device is returned to testing facility again for final certification. All refurbished devices are under warranty that is no shorter than 2 years.
